Traffic crashes are the leading cause of death of Americans ages 3-34. What if we could eliminate the tragic loss of more than 37,000 lives on our nation’s roadways each year due to unsafe roadway conditions? What if we could save motorists from unfortunate injuries due to the physical properties of roadways that cause harm to highway users? What if we could reduce property damage and associated costs to remedy damage due to hazardous roadway conditions?

RSF has joined the national mission to work Toward Zero Deaths, and believes that to get there, we must emphasize crash prevention and mitigation through lifesaving improvements to our built road environments: pavement, markings, signs & signals, crash barriers, roadsides, shoulders, operating conditions, and more. As a nonprofit organization, RSF funds its activities from grants, sponsorships, membership contributions, and donations from others who share the Foundation’s life saving mission. All contributions to the Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational and charitable and organization, are 100% tax deductible.
Contribute to RSF today and help fund our ongoing efforts and high profile programs to build public awareness of the role of the roadway in reducing highway deaths and injuries. Every life is worth saving, and every dollar counts.
